[Qgis-user] Use QGIS "Identify Features" to get pixel value from ArcGIS Image Service
Hello, Is it possible to use the QGIS "Identify Features" tool to get pixel value from an ArcGIS Image Service? The image service I am using is a DEM. https://geonb.snb.ca/image/rest/services/Elevation/DEM_Raw_MNE_Brut/ImageServer The "Identify Features" tool will return pixel values from file based elevation rasters in my project. I need to compare the pixel values between an ArcGIS Image Service and other elevation rasters in my QGIS project. [Qgis-user] ArcGIS Server connection
Hello, I have experienced this problem in QGIS 3.22 and 3.24. If I open a QGIS project that includes connections to public ArcGIS Server services they will not display unless I open my VPN connection. That does not make sense - they are public facing ArcGIS Services. I have had the same problem with two different ArcGIS servers: GeoNB - https://geonb.snb.ca/arcgis/rest/services GeoNova - https://gis7.nsgc.gov.ns.ca/arcgis/rest/services Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? Re: [Qgis-user] How to specify buffer distance in Metres when Using WGS84 (EPSG:4326) geometry.
Thanks for the advice. Creating the buffers in a projected coordinate system and the reprojecting to 4326 was the answer I was looking for. Bernie. [Qgis-user] How to specify buffer distance in Metres when Using WGS84 (EPSG:4326) geometry.
Hello, I am using QGIS 3.20.0-Odense and I have a small set of points in EPSG 4326, a geographic projection. I am trying to use the Multi Ring Buffer tool and the units for the buffer distance is in "degrees" but I want to specify a buffer of 5 metres. The tool doesn't appear to allow me to change the units for the buffer distance. What can I do here?
