Subject: Graphic modeller - writing the help section

Hi all,
My aim is to being able to run a graphic model which has the help section on
the right hand side of the interface, similar to every core algorithms.
This way should allow the users to read the instructions from the interface,
rather than having to open the graphic model in editing mode and read the
comments.

Cheers

Re: [Qgis-user] QGIS layer style in ArcMap v10.0

2022-02-09 Thread Davide Di Mauro
Grazie Luca,
The only problem I see at this stage is that if the client wants the datasets
and the MXDs they won’t be able to manipulate any layers, won’t they?

I think the easiest way would be to set up a qgis server, and use the layer as
WMS

[Qgis-user] QGIS layer style in ArcMap v10.0

2022-02-09 Thread Davide Di Mauro
Hi all,
I’d like to import a QGIS style/symbology of a shapefile in ArcMap v10.0 for a
given layer. My aim is to then assign that style to the same shapefile in the
ESRI interface.
In QGIS I can export a layer’ style/symbology as .qml or .sld, but where do I
go from there?
I have tried using the SLYR plugin (community edition) but I am struggling to
see the relevant tool for this task.
Any ideas?

P.S.: Yes Nyall I am looking at you 😊

[Qgis-user] Raster calculator difference evaluation

2021-10-03 Thread Davide Di Mauro
Hi all,
I have two rasters.
I need to output cells of one raster that are not present in the other. How
would I go in order to achieve that using the raster calculator (i.e. avoiding
Python)?
My logic so far is:
if A - B = A then output cells from A deriving from that evaluation and NoData
everywhere else.
The problem is that in the raster calculator I can only evaluate the
subtraction and the equality does not evaluate in the same way of the
subtraction, even if computed in a different instance.
Is there a secret ingredient? Can my logic be rewritten differently? or am I
way off?

Cheers
Davide

Re: [Qgis-user] Strumento di geoprocessing "taglio"

2020-03-02 Thread Davide Di Mauro
Ciao Giada,
Una volta che hai utilizzato lo strumento clip affinche' tutte le sub area
entrino nel tuo bacino (non ti preoccupare se alcune aree che fanno parte della
stessa sub-area vengono mozzate).

Facci sapere come e' andata!

Ciao
Davide

Actually, a 2 year cycle will make this far, far more problematic.

An example is the proj library. QGIS 3.4 was developed using the older
proj v4 library, and while it's possible to build it using proj v 6 or
v7, it's not far from recommended. When proj v8 is released then it
will become completely impossible to build QGIS 3.4. If we tried to
squeeze another 12 months out of QGIS 3.4 then we'll bump into all
sorts of linux packaging issues as the underlying linux distros
upgrade to proj v6 or later. And that's completely out of our
control...

Subject: [Qgis-user] QGIS Server 3.4 LTR - sld_body support
Message-ID:

Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi
I'm migrating a Web Application from QGIS 2.18 to QGIS 3.4. In the old
application we used sld_body- parameter in WMS request to add a custom layer
(raster) to the qgis-project. The syntax is the following:
SLD_BODY : scans_17273style

In the error log there is no error but the result of the request is:
Could not create output
CRS

Does anybody know if UserLayer in sld_body is still supported in QGIS Server
3.4 or in a version > 3.4?

Thanks in advance for your information
