Re: [Qgis-user] Problems Initializing qgis
Hi Andrea, thanks for your help. Concerning the installation procedure, this is what I did: First I uninstalled the previous version. Then I went to this page: " https://www.qgis.org/en/site/forusers/download.html#; I clicked on "Looking for the most stable version? Get QGIS 3.28 LTR" A file was downloaded to my P.C: "QGIS-OSGeo4W-3.28.10-1" I clicked on it, and the software was installed. I dont know if the windows user has writing rights for the file qgis.db. How could look for it? Regarding my system I got this information: Windows 10 Enterprise Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 465OU with Radeon Graphics 2.10 Ghz Installed memory RAM: 16.0 Gb System type: 64-bit Operating System El sáb, 26 ago 2023 a las 17:55, Andrea Giudiceandrea via QGIS-User (< qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org>) escribió: > > Juan Rafael Suárez juanrsuarez267 at gmail.com > > Fri Aug 25 14:20:10 PDT 2023 > > > I am working in windows 10.0 System 32.0 > > I upgraded to Qgis 3.28.10 > > Now I have these issues: > > When I start the program at the first time nothing happens. > > Then I start by the second time, and the the program starts, but I get > this > > message: > > "Creation of missing tbl_srs in the private qgis.db failed > > disl I/O error" > > Hi Juan Rafael, > could you please specify in details which installer have you used to > install QGIS and how have you installed / upgraded QGIS? Then at starting it appears this message: "This plugin uses Google Earth Engine API and it looks like it is not yet authenticated on this machine. You have to need a google account registered on Earth Engine to continue. Click OK to open a web browser and starts the authentication process. Or click cancel to stop the authentication process." I click OK but it never finishes the process, although I have an account on goggle and I work frequently with google earth. Then I cancel and returns to qgis. Re: [Qgis-user] qgis user profile configuration
Thanks Andrea, finally following your recommendations I could solved it. The problem was that the custom profile had definitions for the "Locale (numbers, date and currency formats) different that those defined for my p.c. configuration. So I override them with the same my p.c. uses for a new profile. After y close the program and open again with the new profile, the things are working o.k. Thanks a lot. [Qgis-user] qgis user profile configuration
Good morning everybody, I had some problems with some weird symbols (arabic characters) in the legend when I was trying some classifications. Andrea advice me to try to configure my user profile. So I tried to do it, but then I realized that in the screen in some of the capture forms the arabic characters were appearing too. So I thought I could have a problem with the qgis installation. So I unstilled the qgis and I reainstalled again the version 3.22.8, but when I tried again to check the user profile configuration I see that again in some forms arabic characters are appearing insteado of our normal alphabet. I checked the configuration of my P.C. and I dont see any thing wrong. Could ane of you have any idea what I am doing wrogn. I share a image where you can see the arabic characters. ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user

[Qgis-user] Raster map generation problem
Hello everybody, I am new to qgis and I am having problems to generate a raster map from a point data. I am working in qgis v 3.16.16 I want to generate a raster map from a point layer. The point layer was imported from an .csv file created in excel. For the point layer creation, I defined the X coordinate, and the Y coordinate and I select the CRS EPSG:4326 - WGS - 84. (Geographic coordinates). For the raster creation, I used the point layer created in qgis. For the Field I selected a column with numeric data. Like output I selected pixels For horizontal and vertical resolution I selected 1.00. It is a small area. >From the output extent I select "calculate from the layer", and I select the same layer. By the way, when I am typing for some fields the system show weird characters, not the common alphabet. I am attaching the log I received. I will deeply appreciate it, if someone may help me.
