[Qgis-user] Difference and Selection errors
Dear all, Working with the wonderful Processing Modeler of QGis 2.18, I found two strange errors. 1) On an normal intersect request, the SAGA Difference tool worked perfectly, while the QGis Difference resulted in an error: "Error executing algorithm Difference global name 'QgsWKBTypes' is not defined" 2) Also I found that a QGis Select by location with the Within condition checked, results in 0 selections, whereas the v.select (Selects features from vector map (A) by features from other vector map (B)) with a Within setting, produces the - tested - correct selection of 1. Does anybody else has the same experience with those tools? [Qgis-user] Couldn't load QGIS utils
Hi all, Yesterday I installed a 64 bits version of QGIS 2.16 and after startup I got the following popup. After that QGis seems to be working okay (apart from the python disabling). Is there an obvious solution for this problem. I tried both the advanced and the express install, but no luck so far. Couldn't load QGIS utils. Python support will be disabled. [Qgis-user] QGis crashes when geoprocessing
Dear all, I have installed on a Windows 10 desktop computer, a QGis 2.14.2 64bit version. First a discovered that every time I tried to buffer points or polygons it was only the MMQGis plugin that did the job, all the other buffer functions from 1) the Processing Toolbox, the 2) Multiple Distance Plugin and 3) via Vector, Geoprocessing-tools all showed erratic results and a crash of QGis. Today I tried to do some clipping. The clipping by the Processing Toolbox worked, but by Vector, Geoprocessing-tools it crashed again. All crashes show a log dump file with the message : 'The thread tried to read or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access' I plan to do some geoprocessing in the near future and I have 2 questions: 1) What's the difference between the MMQGis, Geoprocessing-Toolbox en the Processing Toolbox? 2) Is there anything that I can check in order to prevent further crashes? Any suggestions will be appreciated Kind regards, Pim Verver ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] NViz 3D Module in QGis 2.0.1.
Hello everyone, I have a windows 8.1 64 bits machine with a standalone installation of QGis 2.0.1. I want to experiment with the NViz Module, installed as part of GRASS, wich is installed as an integral part of QGis. I have define a GRASS mapset, etc... But when I select Open GRASS Tools and from the module tree select the NViz 3D viewer I get the popup 'Module NViz not found'. Does anybody has the same problems?
