[Qgis-user] Filter by location ?
Hi everybody, Is there any way to filter in QGIS by location? I´m talking about a real filter, not a selection by location nor any process that will generate a new layer (clip, intersection, ...). A real filter like what we have in the right click in the layer name, then "Filter". But that option is only an alphanumeric fiulter, not a spatial query. I´m looking for a spatial query to filter (not select) the features in a layer. Thank you in advance Rafa ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] Error in the attribute table when you use "dropdown menus (cascade)" in forms
Hi to all, I´m using QGIS v3.6 under Windows 10. I have set up several forms using "dropdown menus (cascade)" for filling up some fields y several layers. This "dropdown menus (cascade)" mean that each of this menus read their values from a table with this possible values (domains), using the "value relation" from QGIS forms set up section. And because it´s in cascade (using the "current_value()" function), once you select on value in the first of this dropdown menu, the values showed in the next one is filtered from the total values that could come from the domain table. And go on for the rest od these dropdown menus. Everything works well in the form, but if you look at the attribute table, the filters in cascade done in the form set up using the "current_value()" function doesn´t work well, so you are presented values in these fields that are not correct. I would like one of these two possible options: A) The data in the attribute table is not influenced for the configuration done in the form section. So you would so the "raw data" B) The data in the attribute table shows the same behavior that in the form, so the filters in cascade would works well. One of these two options would be ok, but know the data shown in the attribute table when you have set up "dropdown menus (cascade)" in the form is incorrect. [Qgis-user] QGIS file flagged as virus
Hi everybody, My antivirus has flagged the QGIS file "*nircmd.exe*" and "*nircmdc.exe*" as viruses and have deleted them. Should I be worried about this? Are they necessary for QGIS? Apparently my QGIS is still working properly. I have found a similar question to this one here: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Re-Qgis-user-nircmd-flagged-as-a-virus-td4102707.html But I'm not sure if I have to worry about or no. What are these files supposed to do? [Qgis-user] Why QGIS change the SRS?
Hello everybody, Just one question: I am using QGIS v2.18. I start a project using EPSG:25830. When I load a SHP layer into QGIS, then QGIS change the SRS of the project "on the fly" to EPSG:3042, even when the PRJ file of the SHP layer shows that the SHP is in EPSG:25830. Why? Re: [Qgis-user] Why QGIS change the SRS?
Thanks Alexandre for answering. Yes, those projections are quite similar, but one is in UTM coordinates and the other is TM. I can imagine that the use of both projections is the same in most of the cases, but makes me wonder why QGIS does this change, because they have different EPSG code. Thanks again. Hi Hoyo. It could be what you've said. How can I see how it looks the PROJ4 string? Sorry Goyo. I think the PROJ string is in the previous message from Alexandre. I suppose that´s the right answer... Thanks Rafa 2017-02-21 7:12 GMT+01:00 Rafa García Castillo : > Hi Hoyo. [Qgis-user] Error editing PK values in "Add record" form
Hi everybody, I´m testing QGIS 3.0 in Windows 10. I think I have found an error in the "Add record" form when you are editing a PostgreSQL table without geometry and the table primary key (PK) is composed of two fields (or more) from the table. I suppose QGIS thinks a PK field has to be unique, and that´s true for most of the cases, but when you have a PK composed of more than one field, is the combination of these fields what it has to be unique, not the fields individually. Now, in QGIS 3.0, if you write a value for one of the PK fields that it is already in the table, it doesn't let you insert that value, even if the combination of the values that compound the PK is unique. I attach two screenshot: -"Add record" button -"Add record" form not letting you insert a value Thanks in advance Rafa ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: https://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] Sextante in QGIS
Hi, I would like to ask you about the Sextante in QGIS. I have read in several webs that Sextante is in the QGIS core since version 2.0, and I have seen in these webs images where you can see a "SEXTANTE" category in the "Processing Toolbox". But in my QGIS v2.6.1 I can´t see any categorý called "Sextante" in the "Processing Toolbox". I can see other categories such as GDAL/OGR, GRASS, Orfeo Toolbox, SAGA, etc.), but not SEXTANTE. Can an ybody tell me why? Is there something wrong with my QGIS? Have I to install/active something?
