Hello,
just to clarify - this was a problem on my side. I had to rename the files and
the file names didn't match.
Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the fast reply

Hi Wolfgang,

Normally I would advice you to create an issue for this on
https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/issues
and attach a dataset with it, so other can confirm this is a QGIS issue (and
not a mapinfo issue)

But to have a quick-fix, you could install an older (for you working) version
of QGIS next to 3.22?
Another idea, if it is not too much data, ask others to convert your mapinfo
files to geopackages or so? So you at least have the data?

(but please after you finished your project also create an issue (with dataset
and expected outcome etc etc) so somebody can investigate.

REgards,

[Qgis-user] QGIS 3.22.2 import Mapinfo files

2022-02-02 Thread SCHULZ Wolfgang
Hello,
I'm importing Mapinfo files (*.mif + *.mid) for years with all the QGIS
versions. I recently upgraded to QGIS 3.22.2 (Win10) and realized that it is
not working anymore. It seems that the *.mid file which is containing the data
is not read at all because the attribute table is empty (the individual fields
are there).
Is there another way to import Mapinfo files. What could be the reason for this
issue?
Any help is appreciated.
The thing is that I need to finish a project today and I use this feature for
the project.
Thanks a lot
Wolfgang

[Qgis-user] Win10 QGIS 3.2.2x64: Problem with number of colors for a raster image

2018-08-29 Thread SCHULZ Wolfgang
Hello,

I’m using QGIS 3.2.2 x64 on Win10 and I have a problem with the number of
colors for a raster image if the modus is continuous (German Fortlaufend). How
to increase the number of colors? Independent what I do I always have 5 colors.
Is this a bug?

Best regards

[Qgis-user] Import and reference HDF4 data

2014-08-11 Thread SCHULZ Wolfgang
Hello,
I want to import the following data (hdf format) into QGIS:
http://ghrc.nsstc.nasa.gov/hydro/search.pl?method=quick&keyword=HRFC&context=Any+field

Any idea how to georeference it?
I can import it. The interesting layer of the hdf4 file is the first layer. The
layer should contain data -180 to +180 longitude and -90 to +90 latitude in 0.5
degree resolution.
How can I tell to QGIS the limits of the data layer for a hdf4 file?

Thanks for your help

[Qgis-user] PostGIS Layer

2014-06-16 Thread SCHULZ Wolfgang
Hello,
I'm using QGIS 2.2 (Win64) and want to add a PostGIS Layer. The data contains
only points but with a lot of attributes. Is there a possibility not only to
restrict the database request but to extract only some of the fields?

Thanks for your help
