[Qgis-user] Ubuntu 16.04 dependency problem (qgis-2.18.9 and python-sip)
Hello, I updated my OS, and my system now has dependency problem. I think the problem is with python-sip package. python-sip was updated (to python-sip (4.19.2+dfsg-1+16.04+xenial+build3) and python3-sip (4.19.2+dfsg-1+16.04+xenial+build3)), and QGIS (2.18.9) has been removed automatically... When I want to install qgis terminal shows me, that I need to install python-qgis. So, when I want to install python-qgis, terminal tells me, that I need to install python-qscintilla2 and sip-api-11.2. And this is the end of my journey, because sip-api is virtual package of python-sip, which has been updated. My apt log is here: https://pastebin.com/mQs2xspH Maybe You have the same problem? Or some solution for me. Re: [Qgis-user] HTML rendering in Map Composer
Thank You for advice, but it still doesn't work. I installed few packages with "webkit" in the name, but nothing has changed. I made comparision on my second machine with Ubuntu 14.04 and there are the same libraries installed, and HTML rendering works there fine. So maybe other library... I thought maybe some plugin has bad effect on this problem, but I turned off all of plugins and HTML rendering still doesn't work. Re: [Qgis-user] Spatilite and QGIS issue
Hi, Try to recover geometry typing a command SELECT RecoverGeometryColumn('[1]', 'Geometry', [2], '[3]', 'XY'); Where: [1] - table name [2] - epsg code [3] - geometry type I had similar problem some time ago, and recovering geometry helped me. Also try to open that Spatialite database in Spatialite GUI - nice app to perform some actions using Spatialite. -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/Spatilite-and-QGIS-issue-tp5283146p5283153.html Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org List info: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user Unsubscribe: http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] HTML rendering in Map Composer
Hello Group! I have a problem with text field in Map Composer... When I enable HTML rendering on some text field, whole text on map becomes invisible. I'm using QGIS 2.16.2 on Linux Mint 18 (Ubuntu 16.04), Maybe I have to install some libraries? Everything was fine, when I was using QGIS 2.16 on Linux Mint 17 (Ubuntu 14.04)... Re: [Qgis-user] is it possible to change field type
If it is Shapefile, you can open DBF file in LibreOffice/OpenOffice Calc, and change field type (field type is represented by symbol (N, C, D or M) by the field's name), for example: FIELD,N,9,0 to: FIELD,C,9 N is for Number (numbers define field's Length and Precision), C is for Character, D is for Date, M is for Memo. You should make a backup of DBF file before. It is faster method, but you should be careful with using it. Re: [Qgis-user] QGIS 2.6 crashes during save after removing one layer
I noticed the same problem... I found a reason - in map composer there is the problematic layer in legend (in previous version of QGIS new layers was automatically added to the legend in map composer). Delete this layer in legend in map composer, then delete it from QGIS. Or open QGIS project file in notepad and delete this layer manually. -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.x6.nabble.com/QGIS-2-6-crashes-during-save-after-removing-one-layer-tp5175623p5175630.html Sent from the Quantum GIS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user
[Qgis-user] QGIS 2.6.1 update problem [Ubuntu]
Hello, I have a problem with 2.6.1 update (Ubuntu 14.04 64bit, Debian repo for trusty). I do the update and there is a problem with dependencies for qgis-python, with libqgis-customwidgets2.6.1. Now I have all upgrades blocked because this package is broken... :) apt-get -f install is not working. It shows me an error (Polish comments): # dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/libqgis- # customwidgets2.6.1_2.6.1+trusty1_amd64.deb (--unpack): # próba nadpisania /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt4/plugins/designer/libqgis_customwidgets.so, który # istnieje także w pakiecie libqgis-customwidgets2.6.0 2.6.0+trusty1 # Wystąpiły błędy podczas przetwarzania: # /var/cache/apt/archives/libqgis-customwidgets2.6.1_2.6.1+trusty1_amd64.deb # E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) Maybe you know how to solve this problem.. And funny thing, my QGIS is upgraded to v. 2.6.1, but problem with dependencies still remain... Re: [Qgis-user] r.drain doesn't work
Hey, that's very nice :) volaya wrote I have it fixed and will push the change to the repo today, along with some other minor changes. What repo do you mean? Thanks for Your help Cheers, Slawomir Bienias volaya wrote The problem is not in the script itsefl The problem that was reported is caused by the r.drain algorithm having a multiple input of vector files.
