[Qgis-user] How to use the digitize tab in layer properties in QGIS 3.4
Dear QGIS-Users, currently I am confused how to use the digitize tab in the layer properties. What is behind to check if a geometrie is valid or the topology has gaps, missing vertexes or is overlapping? The professional context I know pretty well. But what are the next steps in QGIS itself to show all the checking possibilities? Background: QGIS 3.4 on Linux Ubuntu 18.04. Thanks for all your answers. [Qgis-user] Configure qgis buttons of external plugin
Dear QGIS-User, a new question arised from an external qgis plugin such as QAD. Do you know any possibility in oder to reduce the buttons on such a toolbar of an external plugin? For internal plugins it works like a charm but not for an external plugin. Or I did not see the way of doing until now. Hi Alessio, Stefan did a great job in explaining the facts. Please notice that 3D View environment is only available with Qt 5.8 and newer. So for Linux that means to wait or upgrade your Qt which might not be that simple in the whole QGIS environment. --> See Stefans Mail. In contrast to Linux, for Windows QGIS works with the newer Qt version of 5.9. There 3D works like a charm. Dear QGIS-User, in our office the last days a question came up: HOW CAN I CONFIGURE THE QGIS CUSTOMIZATIONFILE PATH ON WINDOWS IN ORDER TO GET A DIRECTORY WITH AN *.INI-FILE FOR CUSTOMIZATION SPECIFICATIONS SUCH AS I GET ON LINUX LIKE /HOME/USER/.CONFIG/QGIS/QGIS2.CONF? We want to prepare a few of *.ini-files and want to switch easy in a directory but not do some customization via registries. Do you have any suggestions? [Qgis-user] Polygon Dimensioning in QGIS
Dear QGIS-User community, I am looking for an opportunity in order to create a polygon dimensioning in QGIS. Do you have any suggestions how I can do this? -- The result should look like the picture below. The best case scenario should show the dimensioning in meter as the unit. I tried the plugin QAD but it seems like I can not do it within the plugin. Any assistance is welcome!
