[Qgis-user] qgis2web
Dear all, I am trying to export to web map a number of layers using qgis2web app. In order to make them visible to others I asked "Export to folder", I put my username and after running the app I was asked for my password. This is the problem. I am afraid I don't remember the correct password and there is no link "forgot your password" to get it or to ask for a new one. Hello Nikos:
Here are two options to get you started.
QGIS has a front-end to the GDAL utility GDAL_grid under the "Raster
->Analysis" menu, there are four GRID* options. You would do well to
first read the GDAL grid tutorial:
https://gdal.org/tutorials/gdal_grid_tut.html#gdal-grid-tut
to choose the best method for your case.
These interpolation options are not the best, so your results will
depend on the density of the points.
A second option is the GRASS tool, v.surf.rst under "Processing ->
GRASS -> Vector". This tool uses spine interpolation, and offers some
configurations to the smoothing procedure, so it's a bit more
complicated. But it often gives better results.

[Qgis-user] how to make a DEM
Hi all, I use QGIS 3.14.16 on WIN10. I have a shp file of points. For each point I have the height in meters. I would like to make a DEM out of it. How can I do it? I tried to find something in QGIS 3.16 documentation but didn't help. Any ideas? Hi Matt, You have to have a common column in both tables (QGIS table and spreadsheet). The cells in both columns of the tables must contain exactly the same values. Then, open the layer in QGIS, go to properties and choose Connections. Then go to (+) symbol and follow the instructions. Each location has more than one property, the property is in an excel spreadsheet. I want to use the location data from the GIS layer and the properties from the table to classify the points. Both of these datasets are maintained separately and I need to be able to bring them back together for analysis.
