Hello list, i've got the same problem with libtiff.dll. When i remove it from system32 qgis works fine, but i've to use a fax software which needs this libtiff.dll too. So when i've deleted libtiff.dll from system32 the fax software doesn't work. I tried to put the libtiff.dll in qgis\bin and in the directory of the fax software *.exe. QGIS starts but the fax software doesnt work... libtiff.dll in system32 -> qgis doesnt start; fax software works libtiff.dll in qgis\bin and NOT in system32 -> qgis starts; fax software doesnt work Anybody solved a problem like that? Thanks for the hint Giovanni, i think redistributing the SDK is unfortunately forbidden. I've got a copy of the ERDAS SDK 4.1. Do you have webspace where i can upload it for you? I had the same problem using ecw with QGIS 1.7 and ERDAS SDK 4.2. With the older SDK 4.1 it works well now.
