No, the qgis package (release; currently 1.5.0) is build with 1.6 as 1.7
doesn't currently have python bindings in OSGeo4W.  Only qgis-dev (nightly
trunk build, currently 1.6.0 2b) is build with 1.7. 

The standalone installer is build from the qgis package.

I just like to know what is the GDAL/OGR version that comes with this
new installer? Is it now GDAL 1.7?

The one that I got has GDAL/OGR 1.6.3.

I thought that QGIS 1.5 is compiled with GDAL 1.7

Another problem with this installer (i.e. first one that I got) is
Spatialite polygon render - No render.

It can't render the polygons - Unknown Geometry in Spatialite database
created outside QGIS 1.5.

Please download this test-2.3 spatialite database and test it.

psycopg2, python-rpy, python-rpy2, pyspatialite, pyparsing, python-simplejson,
python-shapely

Not for 1.5.  We'd need to update libpq (with SSL support ) is OSGeo4W and then
rebuild Qt, QGIS, GDAL and probably more...

Juergen, PostGIS Manager plugin needs psycopg2. It is also missing in
QGIS 1.5 standalone OSGeo4W as well.

python-shapely to the qgis-full package in OSGeo4W (which is the express target
in the OSGeo4W installer and also the package selection the standalone
installer uses).

Anything else missing?   If not I'm going to create a new version of the
standalone installer from that selection.
