[Qgis-user] Qgis and Grass bug after crash

2009-10-29 Thread Michiel Kunzel

Hello everyone,

I am new to QGIS (using 1.0.2 Mimas on Windows Vista) and have encountered a
problem.

I was working with the grass toolbox from QGIS when the program crashed. Upon
re-opening the program QGIS showed that the GRASS MAPSET I was using was still
active.

Now I need to switch to another MAPSET but the program will not let me. The
close-MAPSET button is not useable and the GRASS toolbox is also not active, so
I can't work on my mapset in QGIS anymore.

Is there a solution for this? Might be I overlooked something.

Thanks in advance,

Michiel Künzel

Hi,

did you check if you have a .gislock file? If yes try delete it.

cheers

PS
Please upgrade to 1.3, there were many updates in the grass toolbox
since 1.0.2
