Nicollo,
I get a segmentation fault. This occurs immediately the "Starting
Python" message is displayed on the Splash screen.
Also, there also appears to be a dependency problem with the grass plugin.
I get the following message when I try to upgrade the
"qgis-grass-plugin-common" package:
"qgis-plugin-grass-common:
Depends: qgis-plugin-grass but it is not going to be installed"
The "qgis-plugin-grass" package does not have a 1.5 candidate.
I hope that you can resolve this shortly as I am now without a working
QGIS :-( I could revert to 1.4 but I am really keen to review 1.5.
Thanks all!
Gary

Hey list,
i was pleased to read that QGIS now supports WMS-C.
So I tried it, but I had unfortunately no success.
I used a WMS that supports WMS-C and added it with the option tiled=true to
QGIS.
(e.g. http://localhost:8181/service?TILED=true - as it is specified in the WMS
Tiling Recommendation
http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/WMS_Tiling_Client_Recommendation )
QGIS add the WMS, and show a map. But QGIS only send one request to the WMS. So
it is like using a normal WMS and not a WMS-C. Is there a trick how i can use a
WMS-C with QGIS?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Dominik

Dear all,
I am just discovering eVis.
Really a great tool visualising points of interest.
Is there a option to make a ODBC connection to -- for example -- MS Excel
permanent so that I do not need to reconnect after the project is re-opened?
Currently, when I save a project with an event layer and re-open it, I am asked
to identify a missing layer.
I welcome any help.
Best regards,
Timmie

It doesn't look like the Debian repository listed in the download page
has 1.5 available. Anywhere else I can get it?
Today I uploaded QGIS 1.5 packaged for Debian Lenny (i386 and
amd64 architectures) to the **unofficial** repository:
deb http://debian.gfoss.it/ lenny main
Please report any problem with the packaging to me, not to the
innocent official Debian mantainers.
