[Qgis-user] Removing a layer name from the legend
Hi, In previous versions it was possible to remove the layer name by clicking edit on the legend item and deleting the text, as described in https://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/130625/how-to-remove-layer-names-from-the-print-composer-legend In master, deleting the text does not delete the layer, the text can be changed but not removed completely. Am I missing something? My use case: Design a 2 column legend for a single categorized layer with 4 categories. Currently, the left column consists of the layer name and two categories. The right column contains the remaining two categories but they are not well aligned with the category entries in the left column. This is because the items in the right column are aligned with the top of the layer name. To achieve a nice alignment, I would usually delete the layer name but now it seems that I can't.
