You can also pop open the Attribute table for your newly created data (right click open attribute table), enable editing, and remove (Delete Column) the extra fields if you wish. Hello, I would like to transfer contour line elevation values to polygons in another shapefile based on the contours contained within any given polygon. Is there a tool for this? I can select the polygons with a spatial query based upon another polygon but need to add the height info from the contour file. Thank you, cheers . . . .
