Johanna,

Is this something which happens consistently for you? I've tried to
reproduce it but with no luck. Can you provide any more details on
ways to trigger issue for me?

Thanks,

2014-05-19 Thread Johanna Botman

I've been experiencing this issue as well.

It happens when I 'forget' to select between the Select/Move Item tool and
the Move Item Content tool.

So I could be working in the Map by panning and zooming with the Move Item
Content tool and then click on a text box to edit that. If I have not
selected the Select/Move Item tool when I click the text box then the whole
lot freezes.

I have waited for some time to see if it was a memory or refresh issue, but
in the end, it's easier to close it down and start again. I save early and
save often :)

Does this occur only after the attribute table or a shape is inserted? If
so, its a bug which has been fixed for 2.4.

[Qgis-user] freezing print composer on qgis 2.2.0 (64 bit) windows 7

2014-05-16 Thread Peter Schürch
Hi all
Im having troubles with the print composer in qgis 2.2.0 (64 bit) windows 7.
After a few operations like resizing / zooming / panning map, inserting a
attribute table etc. all elements in the layout window become
inactive/uneditable. No error message or alike. Closing and reopening of the
print composer window makes no difference.
Sorry for this not very specific description of my problem...
Anyone experiencing similar problems?

Freundliche Grüsse
Peter Schürch
