Exactly. We should try to fix all we can to the release date. But unless there is something really severe, whatever we have at 2014-02-21 (38 days away) will get released as 2.2. So everyone should participate in the test phase starting in ten days (2014-01-24), test, report as good as possible to get QGIS into the best shape on release day.
