Re: [Qgis-user] FW: Print a map with selected features?
You can say the opposite: People select some features. Then they move to printing without remembering that they selected some features in some layers. Don't you think that people are surprised that some features print in a different color? If you want this feature back you have to integrate this functionality as an option - not as default. Unfortunately it is too late now for the next edition (2.6), since we are soon in feature freeze. After that I agree, such an option would be useful. "would be" for who? have you done a poll? :-) To reproduce this feature you has to: 1) create a shapefile 2) copy & paste feature 3) style the shapefile 4) print it that's a 4x work, before was sufficient to select a feature and amen... for me QGIS work should be simple, users doesn't want a new GRASS... ___ Qgis-user mailing list Qgis-user@lists.osgeo.org http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/qgis-user

Hi, As Nathan said - this worked in older QGIS versions by accident and probably was a bug. People would be very surprised if selections would show up in print by default.
