Geoff's site seems to be no longer available. Has he left the
(QL)-building?

François Van Emelen

http://www.gwicks.net/justwords.html seems to be working OK here at least
.

I am not aware of any problems on the site, but I notice one or two strange
things occasionally that I cannot explain. For example on the statistics I
get a list of errors that seem to have no explanation as some are valid
files on the site.

One problem may be a slight difference between:

www.gwicks.net/justwords.htm

and

www.gwicks.net/justwords.html

Technically the file is justwords.html but both should work.

You can also try:

www.gwicks.net/index.htm

This contains a link to the Just Words! part of the site. (The index will
eventually contain a link to non-QL content that I have not yet started work
on. )

The renewal is due at the end of the month for a further year. Interestingly
there has been a huge increase in the number of hits in the last month or
so. I am not sure of the cause as the QL scene is going through one of its
quieter periods,

Best Wishes,

Geoff

[Ql-Users] Website update

2012-06-07 Thread Bob Spelten

I have just uploaded my improved website.
This includes two new freeware programs.
One is a Screen Viewer called SQRview.
This can display BMP, PIC, PSA, SCR SPR files in all modes and has many
save options.

The other is a QDOS version of SuQcess, SuQ120e.
It is not as powerful as the SMSQ/E version 2.05 but all known bugs have
been fixed.

The Utilities page also has a new tool for chaining sprites and an update
for The Qwatch clock program.

The site has not changed radically but looks now more as I wanted it to be.
I have checked the site in Opera, SeaMonkey and IE9.
It took some tweeking to get the same result (almost) in all three.
If you find it looks odd in your browser, please let me know.

Bob
