This is not my invitation to make, so apologies if Im stepping on 
anyone's toes, but I thought this information needed to be more widely 
disseminated. So heres a mash-up of information gleaned so far. Detlef 
writes on QL Forum:


/Announcement for the 40th Anniversary of the Sinclair QL in Dormagen 
(Germany)/


/Hi all,
the meeting in Germany will take place at the weekend of 17/18/19 of 
May 24 in Dormagen.
It will take place in a Hotel. Dormagen is located between the 
airports of Düsseldorf and Cologne.
From there for both directions is a so called "Regio"-Railway 
connection available (less than 1/2h to Dormagen Railway station).
From Railway to Hotel is about 1.8 km (a bit more than a mile). If 
there are not to many, i can pick you up at the railway station.

Otherwise you need to used the taxi service at the station.
Even originally planned as a "German" meeting, all are welcome.

/Now the room rate is 89.00 Euro for a single room and 6 Euro for 
overnight parking.
The name of the hotel is Hoetche https://hoettche.de/. Just switch to 
English.
There is a contingent of 10 Rooms reserved for us, just mention 
"Computertreffen" at booking.
As already addressed you are able to get from the airports of Cologne 
and Düsseldorf to Dormagen within 0.5h.

Will this be a breath of fresh air? Or a last gasp? Either way, its 
got to be worth going! I hope many international QL pundits and 
punters will turn up. I still have fond memories of the 2010 meeting 
in Vienna, Austria.

The Website offers Croatian, Dutch, English, French, Italian, Polish and
Spanish language - so the Hotel is obviously interested in international
guests and did not intend geoblocking. Probably lack of competence from
the consulting company that has set up the website.
