It looks great. I hope you intend to at least share your code with TT,
so that it would at least be possible to have also shadow on Q40 in
a next version of SMSQ/E (if there is some one day, even if the retrofit
of the patch is seriously needed)

Yes thanks, I can walk again without much problems. :)

BTW: The next QPC will again have 16bit shadows. But what I thought
would be a nice and quick job turned out to be a several hours crusade
through the internal structures of the PE. Shadows which don't rely on
the background, i.e. the old shadows, are no problem, but the one I've
implemented (just making the background a little darker) are very
complicated as I've first to reconstruct the background using the
windows pile.
Anyway, the result looks nice and I'm a fan of eye-candy. In case
anybody's interested http://www.deuschle.de/qpc/shadow.png shows how
it looks like.

Because the code looks like this:

pt_shad
   moveq #0,d0 ; dragon - no shadow
   rts

;-)
Seems like he didn't find the time for it. Perhaps I'll do something
against it when I've some spare time.

TT must know, I do not.
I guess it's simpler like that.

No, I do not care about that.
