Version 3.32 of the Toolkit when released will have the bug fixed. In the meantime I suggest you use the exec_w parser_task followed by Exec_w codegen_task method as outlined by Dilwyn. The 3.32 toolkit charge seems to have some reasonable functionality under Minerva but there are some problems , I might look into this, but no guaranttees. Re: [ql-users] Turbo Configuration
If you are using Turbo Toolkit v3.31 (the latest version on my website) there is a known problem with CHARGE under QDOS. I am not sure of the technical details, but assuming you have followed the configuration advice given by others on this list, and you still have the problem, try EXEC_W win1_turbo_parser_task:EXEC_W win1_turbo_codegen_task (that is, start both phases of the compiler manually, replace my filenames with whatever they are on your system). A way of checking this is to use an older version of the compiler and toolkit if you still have them, since the CHARGE problem I've mentioned was introduced unfortunately in the current version. I am not sure if the problem itself is in the compiler or toolkit though. David Gilham (who produces the Turbo Toolkit updates) and George Gwilt (who does the same for the compiler) are both on this list and may be able to give more advice if you still have problems. -- Dilwyn Jones [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.soft.net.uk/dj/index.html -Original Message- From: HUGH N CUMPER <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: 11 December 2001 19:34 Subject: [ql-users] Turbo Configuration Can anyone help me get turbo working? I am running the Qlay emulator under Windows, I have the Turbo toolkit loaded successfully, the compiler distribution files are in my only drive "win1_", I have changed the periods in the names to underscores (do I really have to do this?), when I type "charge" it just says "not found". I have tried 'default_device "win1_"' to no avail. Any suggestions? Hugh
Re: [ql-users] Turbo Configuration
Hi, You will have to run the configure program to change the defaults of the compiler path. All in the documentation with Turbo.
