Re: [ql-users] Irish Meeting (was Norwich workshop)

2003-07-09 Thread Darren . Branagh

I remember what Dilwyn was talking about - happens every couple of months
in Dublin and the place comes to a standstill - The place was filled with
overcover types and security.

I think they where following Dilwyn looking for contrband QL's to be
honest. :-))

Cheers,

Huh, you should worry. I was in Dublin with Darren a couple of years
ago and where did we end up? Right in the middle of a large Sinn Feinn
rally! (Remember that one Darren, with Irish security people on walkie
talkies in every cafe and shop door?)

Re: [ql-users] German Show

2003-07-09 Thread Dilwyn Jones

If any of our UK QLers are interested there is a seat on Peter Fox's
plane for the German show in October. If anyone fancies the trip
drop me
a line and I will explain the cost and details.

If you never flown in a small win engined plane it is well worth the

trip! The show is usually good too.
Aha, on-topic, a plane that has WIN1_ and WIN2_ engines I guess.

Gives a whole new meaning to QL Workshop I suppose (first workshop
ABOVE the English channel?)

Re: [ql-users] launchpad

 I broke it!!
Should have known letting Darren loose on it :-(

I had a look a Launchpad the other night - its excellent. A few bits
n'
bobs that need looked at, but I love the look and feel of it - very
user
 friendly.

Typical Dilwyn program - I found using it dead easy and got it going
without and manual as much, just a few pointers from Dilwyn. What a
great
programmer this guy really is (there - you owe me a tenner jones)
:-))
Only a tenner? ;-)

Re: [ql-users] German Show

2003-07-09 Thread Peter Fox

The whole point about this is that it is a *twin* engined plane which
means that it goes even when one stops (I have never had this happen to
me).
