RE: [ql-users] Mode 33
Have a look at QCDEZE 1.06, the other software with it includes a program that displays old QL mode 4 8 plus BMP, PCX and IFF files as mode 33 images and if it is supplied with a buffer large enough for the converted file it leaves a mode 33 pic image in the buffer that can be saved out to a file. Instructions for use are part of the package. All it needs for easy of use is a simple SBASIC front end. It is fairly fast as it is written in C and writes directly to the screen. There are a couple, mine (Runs under Windows) and Malcolm Lear's (Runs under QDOS), both available at Dilwyn's site... However the version of my BMP2PIC that's on Dilwyn's site doesn't convert to Mode 33 (The newest version does as well as cross conversion)... I'll try to compile it today and send it via separate mail tomorrow... Phoebus

??? 28/10/2002 3:04:14 ??, ?/? Dilwyn Jones [EMAIL PROTECTED] ??: I'm looking for a program which would do (ideally) two functions for me: Convert mode 33 to mode 32 GD2 graphics Convert mode 32 and 33 screens or PIC files to Windows graphics files like BMP or GIF or JPG or whatever. I'm pretty sure I've see a program to do at least some of this but short of ploughing through my entire PD library to check what each can do, I hope someone on this list can tell me to save a little time! Dilwyn, You saw the sources of my BMP2PIC v. 3 and that's what you probably remember... I need to re install VB6 to recompile it though as I don't have a binary now... Phoebus
