1 - Look at dev8_smsq_qxl_basic_asm
QXL_EXT just loads (modified) CALL and LRESPR procedures.

2 - look at dev8_smsq_qxl_disp_asm
 DISP_UPDATE number to check, number to transfer
(how often the QXL displai is updated. set this to a low value if you 
wxant more procesing power, a higher value if you want to have a 
faster screen response)

Hmmm I was playing with my QXL... and after an EXTRAS I came across the following 
command: QXL_EXT... (and right after that DISP_UPDATE) for which I can find NO 
reference 
in the SmSQ/E manuals... anybody have any idea of what they do (well the second one is 
obvious) and their syntax if any?
