Amavis and Qmail, how?
Hi, Maybe someone can help me with the following problem: I got a qmail-1.03 mailserver and am trying to use amavis-0.2.0-pre6-clm-rl-5 with it. I followed the installation instructions from www.unixzone.com/virus and compiled amavis with "configure --enable-qmail". The problem is that everything I send by mail containing a virus passes the scanner, so the virus is not detected at all. I know scanmails works because when I place "|/usr/sbin/scanmails" in ~/.qmail the virus is detected. Can anyone who is using the same configuration tell me what to do or how you managed to get it to work? Hi, There seems to be something wrong but I can't figure out what. I've setup Qmail-1.03, AVP 3.0 Beta 2 and compiled amavis with "configure --enable-qmail". I followed the instructions on www.unixzone.com/virus and even applied the "error in Kaspersky AVP call" fix. When I try so send an email there is a loop and there's no local delivery. What could be wrong? SPAMCONTROL patch not working?
Hi, I've just setup a new Qmail-1.03 server running tcpserver and the SPAMCONTROL patch I received from Erwin Hoffmann. When I test my mailserver at http://www.abuse.net/relay.html it still failes at Relay test 6... so it seems the patch is not working. What could be wrong? I looked in my logs and discovered a file not found... this was a mailquotacheck script which I forgot to copy. Failed Relay test 6 ?
Hi, I received a message from orbs.org that our mailhost is relay server. I thought I fixed the problem by installing ucspi-tcp-0.84 but when I checked our mailhost on http://www.abuse.net/relay.html I got the following relay error: Relay test 6 >>> RSET <<< 250 flushed >>> MAIL FROM: <<< 250 ok >>> RCPT TO: <<< 250 ok Can anyone help me on this because I don't know what to do.
