Hello, About having an open relay, im using tcpserver /w qmail, how do i setup qmail so it can authentication first thru pop3, then let the user relay when he wants to send mail, thank you.. Qmail Problem..
Hello, Im having some problems on certain issues, how do i setup qmail so it will only accept emails thru the smtp server if the to: is to our domain and not to any other domain, so we can stop relayers.. Qmail Relay Question
Hello, How , in qmail, do i only allow mail to host to our domain.com so if users try accessing our server, they can only send to our domain.com and not other domains, how do i do this in qmail? thank you. relay question
Hello, Ive read webwave qmail faq and another qmail faq, and i was wondering how to i setup relay so only users can send email thru our smtp if its going to a user from our domain... So what i did was edit /etc/tcp.smtp and add 207.61.176.194:allow:RELAYCLIENT="" and then ran tcpmakectl to transfer that into a tcp.smtp.cdb and then in rc, i added /usr/local/bin/tcpcontrol /etc/tcp.smtp.cdb, so now, noone can send mail thru our smtp if its not our domain right??? if not, please help i appreciate it. Qmail Authorization failed?
Hello, I got everything setup perfectly, read the faq, and now, i get authorization failed when trying to connect to an account, but i do got the rest login/password, what can i do to fix this problem? Weird Problems
Hello, I got qmail setup properly, and im running from inetd, these is my inetd configurations.. #pop3 stream tcp nowait root/var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup qmail-popup revelex.com /usr/local/bin/checkpassword /var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d ./Maildir/ smtp stream tcp nowait qmaild /usr/libexec/tcpd /var/qmail/bin/tcp-env /var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd and i dont got rcphosts at all, and i created Maildir with makemaildir or wotever in users home directory and i chowned it user.user /home/user... Hello, This is what I was trying to get done for the last fiew days... I added ourdomain.com in rcpthosts.. but what happen was, i couldnt send email out but only to ourdomain.com.. but noone could relay. but the thing im trying to get done, how do i setup qmail so i can email anydomain.com using our ourdomain.com but anydomain.com cant email to anydomain.com using our ourdomain.com. Clearing this up.. only users from ourdomain.com can relay inside/out but noone else can relay. thank you. any help is appreciated... ctrl-relay
Problems with ctrl-relay from http://em.ca/~bruceg/relay-ctrl/ I installed it perfectly, but when i run it, it doesnt add anything to /var/spool/relay-ctrl or anything of the sort. I followed the documentation and nothing works, i dont get any error message but it just doesnt work.. I added /usr/sbin/ctrl-relay-allow and im using tcpserver.. thanks. Using stunnel, you can add SSL dynamicly to your pop3 server... Just make sure you got an SSL capable mua.

How Do I log users email, say i got jdoe all the emails sent or reiceved from joe to store into a directory. or How Do i get qmail to store a copy of emails users or somewhat. Thanks a lot
