SMTP down

I'm using qmail but i'm not able to receive or send 
mail because smtp is down
What can i do , and what is the reason?I've tried 
to telnet localhost 25 or telnet name.domain 25
but i'm not able to connect.

Qmail admin

I've installed qmail and qmail admin, now when i 
try to see my mail(with =netscape messenger) there is a message: the network 
connection was =refused by the server. The server is the same computer where 
I've my =mail.When I try to open qmail admin (localhost/c/s.dll/qmailadmin) 
the =message is : could not connect to the host localhost. I saw the 
etc/host =file and it seems ok .There is someone that could help

Multiple users, single mailbox

I've Qmail,Vpopmail and Courier Imap.
I need to implement something like Exchange 
Acl,
many users need access to a single mailbox 
with
their own credentials.

Virtual domain

I set up Qmail and It's ok.
When i'm setting up vpopmail i haven't Virtual 
domain and assign.
I've created an empty assign file.
When I try to addthe user postmaster it 
tells that the domain doesn't exist(using vadduser) 

when i try to add the domain(using vadddomain) 
it tells that the domain already exist.

What's wrong?

I nedd to enable tree different users(accounts) to 
gain access toa single mailbox.
How can i do that?

Fat partion as Linux partition. Is there any
