Do i need to install SMTP server?
Hi all. i am new at LInux and Qmail but i am trying..I installed qmail and now i am trying to setup my mail server.I can send email and i think that i can receive with IMAP and POP3.Sometimes if i try to use the program OUTLOOK EXPRESS to test IMAP and POP3 i have error on smtp.Do i need to install another program or my SMTP rules are not correct?If my rules are not correct then i have to edit the /etc/tcp.smtp file in order to put the rules? Were you planning on telling us what error message you receive, or what ends up in the qmail-smtpd logs, or any configuration information (such as how you installed qmail)?
