Dot-forward did not work suddenly

2000-07-01 Thread Edward Tsang

Hi there,

I just migrated from sendmail to qmail. We are
using qmail 1.03 and vchkpw from inter7. Before migration, the dot-forward can
successfully read those .forward file and forward mail properly.

However, now the dot-forward will not process those
.forward anymore.

If I use .qmail in user home directory, it will
become message loop. Qmail keep inject message into user home
account.

Following is my rc for qmail

#!/bin/sh

exec env - PATH="/var/qmail/bin:$PATH"
\qmail-start '|dot-forward .forward./Maildir/'

Anyone can give me some advice?

On the other hand, did dot qmail support following
usage?

.qmail in user a directory

/home/usera/Maildir/
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

I tried to use above syntax, however, qmail always
append the host domain and making the delivery unsuccessful.

Example:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Regards,
Edward.

~alias/.qmail file contains:

 |dot-forward

but "dot-forward" wasn't found. Is it installed? In what directory?

dot-forward permissions...

1999-11-17 Thread Andy Bradford

What should be the uid/gid of dot-forward? It installs as root/root but I
am wondering if this is correct?
