qmail, omail, vmailmgr

Hello all

I have set-up a Linux server running slackware
7.1.  I have stopped sendmail as we would like to use qmail with the omail
interface.  I installed qmail from source and the processes seem to be
running:

I cannot send or receive emails and was wondering
if anyone had any ideas.  I am kinda of new to Linux and feel I have done
well so far to set-up apache, PHP and MySQL.

Any help/ideas would be greatly
appreciated

Regards

You need to submit better reports. We can't help you without a lot more
information that you gave us.

The best thing for you, probably, is to stop qmail, and reinstall/reconfigure
according to Dave Sill's excellent "Life with qmail". You can find a pointer
to it at qmail.org, which you should visit just to see all the other useful
tips and tricks.

"Life with qmail" is more of a step-by-step guide to setting up qmail and
verifying that you've done it right. It's also a more modern way to install
qmail than the instructions included in the tarball (daemontools, etc). "Life
with qmail" also includes a hint or two about what information the mailing
list needs to see in a problem report.
