qmail+ ldap
hi all, i have configured ldap server on one machine(ldap server) and on another machine i configured qmail(mail server.) i mentioned ldap server as second authentication server in my mail server by using /etc/nsswitch.conf. user1 can login into mail server by using port 22. but user1 is not a real user on mail server. # id user1 uid=509(user1) gid=510(user1) groups=513(Domain Users) can this ldap user act as a mail user like [EMAIL PROTECTED] __ Do You Yahoo!? Currently I'm installing the latest qmail-ldap-20040801 and phpqladmin-2.0.18d and having a problem with the phpqladmin, the patch was great for qmail-ldap but i need to edit some files on the phpqladmin. Thanks for your answer, Regards, Bayu =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-==-=-=- Mau tau acara terbaru ANTV ? kunjungi http://www.an.tv --
phpQLAdmin list dead?
I’ve been trying to join the phpqladmin list, but I keep getting a ”mailbox doesn’t exist” error. Has the list been closed down? Well, anyway, I hope I can ask a question here instead since I’ve pulled out most of my hair already getting this thing to work… J After logging on, all I can see is my own user object. Seems like an access problem, so I added objectclass phpAdminBranch and administrator= to *all* branches (including base dn, dc=no) leading down to the user I’ve designated as the administrator. I’ve also added phpQLAdminGlobal/controlsadmin to all branches, but I still can’t see anything except my own object. Any tips on how to debug the problem? Regards, Harald

I don't know, but have you ever tried phpldapadmin? Just google it! :) A great tool. -- // // Felipe Augusto van de Wiel // Admin. de Redes e Sistemas // [EMAIL PROTECTED] // http://www.paranacidade.org.br/ //
