Re: mailing list
Yes, but you will need a special schema, for example: dn: uid=li...@zunzun.io,ou=zunzun.io,ou=vusers,dc=route,dc=mx objectClass: top objectClass: person objectClass: inetOrgPerson objectClass: qmailUser uid: li...@zunzun.io cn: lista sn: lista mail: li...@zunzun.io mailAlternateAddress: lista-catch...@zunzun.io mailMessageStore: zunzun.io/lista accountStatus: nopop qmailDotMode: dotonly On Fri, Mar 14, 2014 at 4:45 PM, Gustavo Rios rios.gust...@gmail.com wrote: Hi folks, is it possible to have ezmlm (i mean: mailing lists) with qmail-ldap ? Re: mailing list
Hi, lista-* is handled by mailAlternateAddress: lista-catch...@yourdomain.tld. That makes lista-unsbuscribe, lists-subscribe, lists-anything to work. The mailing list flow, is handled by the ezml-idx package. For example, to create a mailing list called 'li...@mydomain.tld' you could do something like: ezmlm-make -Jmlrth -3 mydomain.tld -5 ad...@mydomain.tld /home/qmail/maildirs/mydomain.tld/lista /home/qmail/maildirs/mydomain.tld/lista/.qmail lista mydomain.tld To know more about the flags check this site: http://untroubled.org/ezmlm/man/man1/ezmlm-make.1.html On Fri, Mar 14, 2014 at 4:57 PM, Gustavo Rios rios.gust...@gmail.com wrote: Simple like that ? How to make mailing-list with ezmlm and qmail-ldap
Hi all, Does anybody know how to make mailing list with ezmlm? I've read a README that said ezmlm lets users set up their own mailing lists within qmail's address hierarchy. A user, Joe, types ezmlm-make ~/SOS ~/.qmail-sos joe-sos isp.net but I was confused about: 1. Where should I create the directory (~/SOS) 2. From which directory should I run the ezmlm-make? My ezmlm was installed in /usr/local/bin/ezmlm 3. What was the ~/.qmail-sos file? 4. Who should own the dir (~/SOS) directory 5. IS there something to do with the ldap server? I know this is not the right place to ask about ezmlm, but I bet some of you have already been using ezmlm with qmail-ldap for years. Thank you in advance for helping me. Regards, sato
Mailing list
Hi, I have this qmail-ldap server running. I've tried to setup a mailing list using ezmlm, but only the user that sends the e-mail to the mailing list's address receives the message. If somoene could help me ou on this, i'd appreciate. ezmlml mailing list is kind of dead. The list ldif file follows my signature. Thanks in advance. qmail-ldap mailing list and vacation replies
Hi, maybe list admins can add Precedence header to all qmail-ldap@qmail-ldap.org mailing list emails? http://www.ezmlm.org/faq/FAQ-9.html RFC 2369 headers can be useful too. -- Tomas
requesting new mailing list: qmail-ldap-docs
Hi guys, Don't you think it's a good idea to have a separate mailing list only for documentation-related questions? I believe that if we start discussing documentation issues on this list people not interested in the documentation will feel annoyed... Re: requesting new mailing list: qmail-ldap-docs
Andre, If you want to limit the users who can edit the wiki site to registered users, maybe you would like to approve these registered users if they subscribe to qmail-ldap-docs list, or making the subscription to the list part of the registration process. Just an idea... regards, bnegrao - Original Message - From: Bruno Negrão [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: qmail-ldap@qmail-ldap.org Sent: Monday, June 27, 2005 8:46 PM Subject: requesting new mailing list: qmail-ldap-docs Hi guys, Don't you think it's a good idea to have a separate mailing list only for documentation-related questions? minor mailing list troubles
Hi all, probably some of you received some mails multiple times in the last few hours. This was caused by a nasty bug in qmail-ldap that was only triggered on the mailing list server. I just updated the box and suddenly most deliveries ended in some strange error. It took me some time and some restarts of qmail-send to locate the bug. Now everything is fixed and working as before. -- :wq Claudio
Mailing list archive?
Hello. I don't want to bother all of you with my problems, when it is likely that all of them have been already reported and discussed before in this mailing list. Where can I find the mail list archive? Thanks! -- Oscar Retana.
