This is unrelated but I thought it may be of interest.

About one year ago I bought their AV for Linux 4.0.3.x (about $50), and a when 
I wanted to renew more than one subscriptions they refused to do it. They 
wanted me to upgrade to a more expensive product instead (at a 20% discount). 
This is a totally unacceptable and undocumented EOL policy.

What happens if I buy v5.0 today, and want to renew the subscription in one or 
two years?

I have a long e-mail discussion about this with a representative from 
Kaspersky I gladly share with anyone who is asking.

I cannot recommend Kaspersky anymore, even though some of the RAV guys are 
working there.

Hi Group.

I'm going to hell with Kaspersky ;-)
Today my Mailserver stops the Mailscanning :-( I don't know why.
So i'm tring to get the new AVP 5.0 Client Server Version working.
The server works.
The Client return the following :
aveclient -p /var/run/aveserver -s 
/var/spool/qmailscan/quarantine/new/foobarmailfile
/var/spool/qmailscan/quarantine/new/foobarmailfile INFECTED
LINFECTED EICAR-Test-File

Would some Perl-Guru help me to refresh the sub_avp.pl ??
Everything i get in the moment ist the sad errormessage that there is a 
fault with the scanner.
