Ezmlm configuration

2000-09-22 Thread Einar Bordewich

Is there done any updated work on the ezmlm list part of qmailadmin after
qmailadmin-0.37?

I understand that most of the idx futures are not supported yet. I've
started looking on ezmlm-web 2.0
ftp://rucus.ru.ac.za/pub/mail/ezmlm/ezmlm-web-2.0.tar.gz
but have a little trouble how to implement it against vpopmail/MySQL on a
user basis without setting up an induvidual webserver entry for each client.

regards

Depending on which version of ezmlm-idx you are using, may I suggest trying
ezweb? Although it doesn't (yet) support 0.40 (since we don't use it), it
does wonderfully with vpopmail-hosted lists, even while concurrently hosted
among lists under ~alias. (If that makes sense.) Authentication is done with
a fairly flexible backend (MySQL, GDBM, or flatfile).

It's at http://oss.gospelcom.net/. Sorry about the commercial. :)

Eh, that's it, I guess. No 300 million dollar unveiling event for this
kernel, I'm afraid, but you're still supposed to think of this as the
"happening of the century" (at least until the next kernel comes along).

virtualhost problem

2000-09-22 Thread Paha

Hi,

I've set up a linux box with qmail + vpopmail + qmailadmin.
The mailer works well, it accepts emails for /etc/passwd users but when
I add a pop3 user with vpopmail the mailer says:

Sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.1.1)

can anyone help me?

thank you,

which ezmlm package

HI,

 I would like to install
Qmailadmin package into my server, I would like to know which ezmlm package do i
need. There are ezmlm-0.53.tar.gz and ezmlm-idx-0.40.tar.gz. Which
one should I use if I want to install Qmailadmin Package.

Thank you

Really
I'd install both of them, but you only need to install ezmlm-0.53.tar.gz. Once that is installed, you just need to
install qmailadmin and it will detect ezmlm. You should also install
autorespond if you want to use autoresponders.

Hi Tony,

I am having a look at the
samples pages of Qmailadmin, I am just wondering how does the autoresponder work
?? How to make a specific pop user account to work with
autoresponser.??

Thank You

Hi,

I don't know what is wrong with the
compling, please help me out, my configure scripts are as
follows:

./configure --enable-cgibindir=/home/main/cgi-bin
--with-htmllibdir=/home/main/qmailadmin
--enable-autoresponder-bin=/usr/local/src/autorespond-1.0.0

then, everything seems ok.

then, type make

everything seems ok

when i type make install

Error 1 and Error 2 pops-up
stating the error cannot make file in
/home/main/qmailadmin/html

Then, I create a /home/main/qmailadmin/html
directory manually.
then, re-type "make install"everythings works
fine.

Then, I have opened the page: http://www.mydomain.com/cgi-bin/qmailadmin...
all the garbage comes upI don't know what is
wrongi have check that I have mod_cgi enabled.(using apache) and have a
proper configuration directory file..--(only I think" --- knows nothing
about CGI
Directory "/home/main/cgi-bin"

Does anyone have any cues of what the
problem is. I quess, i have make something wrong when i install the

I will look into your software. Have to downgrade from the idx-0.40 to the
0.32 first. Any plans for 0.40 support in the near future?
