Start with a fresh copy. `touch Makefile.in` and then try to build.

If that doesn't work, start again, `touch *` and then try to build.

for user list administration I set up a 'lists' virtualdomain (outside
of vpopmail) and use ezmlm-web
(http://rucus.ru.ac.za/~guy/ezmlm/#ezmlm-web) to allow users to manage
their own mailing lists. It's pretty slick and can take advantage of
most, if not all of the features ezmlm-idx provides.

It may not be as 'gooey' as qmailadmin, but it's certainly quite
powerful.

Feel free to email a patch to allow that. :-)

Someone would need to write code to allow a non-postmaster to select
"show mailing lists", and then filter the list to only show lists
they're owners of (which requires opening an extra file).

If someone needs it badly, offer to sponsor it. There might be a
developer who could add it for a few hundred dollars...

Hi.

I made a simple patch for the latest qmailadmin that I think you will like (I

"This patch makes the cursor automatically jump to the most significant field.
The idea was taken from sqwebmail."

That brings up a good question. How much access should a list owner

I used to do this before releasing a tar ball, to avoid any timing issues
1) ./configure

This libtool stuff is making me crazy. I'm going to find a libtool

qmailadmin.

Try this. Start with a fresh copy of qmailadmin 1.2.0, go into the

Please let me know if this works, and I'll do the same in the

maximum space the postmaster can assign to an individual user?
No, but it is possible to set a quota for the entire domain from within
vpopmail. Combined user quotas can exceed that number, but the total
amount of email sent to those users cannot.

Not that many are super mega gurus on the libtool, autoconf, etc tools. I find
it extremely obscure and hard to comprehend.

Thanks Oden. That worked for me. I have no idea though what i did ;) and why
it works on the other machine (similar installation).

Me too(tm), but I only get these errors:

configure.in: 834: required file `./_AM_File,.in' not found
configure.in: 834: required file `./[$2],.in' not found
configure.in: 834: required file `./[$3])].in' not found
make: *** [Makefile.in] Error 1

Using Mandrake 9.2

This is the fix:
libtoolize --copy --force
aclocal
automake --add-missing

./configure ...

On a second server i had no problems compiling. Weird. The
libguile-dev,1.4-25 is not the problem since the second machine doesn't have
it ;)

So i still am in the dark.

I get an error when making 1.2.0 stable:
make
cd . && \
  /bin/sh /usr/src/mail/qmailadmin-1.2.0/missing --run automake --gnu
Makefile
aclocal.m4: 95: `AM_PROG_INSTALL' is obsolete; use `AC_PROG_INSTALL'
aclocal.m4: 96: `AM_PROG_INSTALL' is obsolete; use `AC_PROG_INSTALL'
aclocal.m4: 415: `AM_PROG_INSTALL' is obsolete; use `AC_PROG_INSTALL'
configure.in: 834: required file `./_AM_File,.in' not found
configure.in: 834: required file `./[$2],.in' not found
configure.in: 834: required file `./[$3])].in' not found
make: *** [Makefile.in] Fout 1

Apparently something my make uses (OS=Debian, testing) a newer version of
something (i looked for the package aclocal was in and that is:
libguile-dev, 1.4-25).

Any advice on how to continue? (i didn't have this problem with any of the
earlier rc releases).
