Ok, here is a bit of an odd request. our school owns two domains really-big-domain.org and little.org (just examples) Is there an easy way to automagically make any piece of email addressed [EMAIL PROTECTED] autoforward to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I know I could do a forward for each and every user, but we have more than 400 and I'd like to keep things simpler than that. James, So just to make sure I'm reading this properly Creating an alias domain doesn't really forward anything anywhere. It simply says [EMAIL PROTECTED] is the same person as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Therefore, when mail arrives for either of those email addresses, the mail goes into a single mail queue. Several revisions ago, the '/home/vpopmail/bin/vaddaliasdomain' command was modified to take the arguments in any order. It will simply add the unknown domain as an alias to the known domain. RE: [qmailtoaster] Odd request.
Perfect explanation Joe, thanks. I had the same questions as I followed this thread. I would suggest downloading the latest version of QTP if you have not already done so. QMT-ISO-1.2 installed the latest version on the day you installed it, so I doubt this will be the same version I just released yesterday. But to answer the other part, yes, the qtp-newmodel script should be fixed. I ran a test on it here, using ~4 versions ago QMT packages, and while it did fail the first time I think that was a typo before I released the final code. smime.p7s Description: S/MIME Cryptographic Signature

Benedict Claver wrote: Hi, Mails with spam score greater than required score are marked as spam and yet delivered into mailbox, what could not be working on spamassassin? Benny Spamassassin ONLY scores email. It does not do anything else - no deleting, no moving, etc. So your score of 5.0 in the local.cf file is for when it should mark it as spam. In your simcontrol file, there will be a score (12 or 15 or something). This is when simscan (not spamassassin) will delete the message. Hope that helps some. smime.p7s Description: S/MIME Cryptographic Signature

When installing and it asks you to remove the data from the /etc/mail/spamassassin directory (if you had rdj installed), does that mean all the data, or just the RDJ folder that is in there? Just the RDJ data. I've been told by the SA devels that Spamassassin is smart enough to not process the rules twice, but I prefer to not leave things to chance. smime.p7s Description: S/MIME Cryptographic Signature
[qmailtoaster] Specific Account Forwarding
Hello all, I have a strange request of a customer. They have their own exchange server that is basically used as a glorified shared calendar right now. I host their mail for all 150 email accounts. What they want to do is be able to use their exchange server for say maybe 20 of those accounts but still have my system scan for spam and handle pop smtp imap etc for the other 130 accounts. So I guess my question is is there a way to set certain accounts to relay mail to the exchange server other than having the exchange server pop the mail every 15 minutes? Would there be a script that would allow me to have the server forward the mail for those 20 accounts to the exchange server via smtp? I am not sure if I am asking this right or not but figured someone out there would be able to help out. Thanks Q
