i found this website and i thought i'de share. from what i recall, i
think the author (Lee R. Copp) is a member of this list. hopefully he
will be able to chime in here.

my question iscan this be done globally? i do not want to populate
each users folder with their own .mailfilter.

I don't recall seeing this. You might check the list archives if you 
haven't already.


I'd test with spamdyke's detail log, or recordio if you're not using 
spamdyke, to see what's really going on. My guess is that the other 
end's trying to do something that's fairly obscure. The detail log(s) 
should tell.

Is there any possibility to control as follows. "A user can
send only 20 mails per minute" "If he tries to send more than certain
limit, his account will be disabled for certain period(For example 3
hrs)". Hope this can be done with some scripting. Please tell where to
check and set the parameters.
