Thanks Jake. As I have now dovecot instead of courier-imap, is there a
possibility to include dovect logs into QControl? If so, what files
should I edit?

Best,
Peter

QControl is software I write. There is a free version and a commercial
 version.
The free version (PE or Personal Edition) allows you to administer 1 domain.
The commercial edition has no restrictions.
If your needs fit with the Personal Edition, then you do not need to pay
anything. If you need to administer more than 1 domain then you will need
 the commercial edition.

QControl is a web interface that allows you to administer your Qmailtoaster
(and it should work on other vpopmail based Qmail installs) efficiently. You
do not *need* it in any way. You can use VQadmin or the command line to
 administer your system for free.

It should not matter, unless they're not logging in the same directory.
In which case you would edit the includes.inc file for QControl to
reflect the new paths.

Since you're running mailscanner it's assumed you're not running a
Qmailtoaster server. You probably will not get much help here, since
this mailing list is for Qmailtoaster servers.
I would suggest finding a mailing list/forum for mailscanner and asking
your question there.

Dear Amit,

Kindly go through steps given in qmailtoaster.org, before start
you just see that you have proper rpm install to build this qmail.
Before start update or install php/perl/mysqld/gcc require rpm,
Or just go with yum
like yum install php*/perl*/gcc*
There is a first script i.e
cnt50-deps.shhttp://qmailtoaster.org/distro/centos/cnt50/cnt50-deps.sh,
Kindly read that b'cos they have given the rpm list which is require while

It should not matter, unless they're not logging in the same directory.
In which case you would edit the includes.inc file for QControl to
reflect the new paths.

Peter's dovecot logs are configured the same as in the stock package.
They're in /var/log/, and are rotated in the same manner as system
(messages) and other logs there (boot, cron, maillog, rpmpkgs, secure,
spooler, yum). There is no stock logwatch configuration in the stock
package though.

Dear Team,

I installed qmail-toaster from the ISO cd. Centos installed perfectly
but I'm getting 1 error. When I tried qtp-menu on command file it
gives me error command not found. Does this command require
internet, bcoz I'm not online that time.

I also reinstalled centos with qmail toaster 2 times but got no luck.

Amit Dalia

During the installation it does require an Internet connection to
install Qmailtoaster-Plus. I did not imagine anyone would install a mail
server that did not have an Internet connection when I built the ISOs.

If you're running CentOS, you can leave the httpd.conf as is. The
directives should be applied to all virtual domains as well. In some
cases you need to explicitly state those includes in your virtual host
declaration to get it to load correctly.

I believe that message is a little misleading. It has to do more so with
your apache configuration, if you plan to do a bunch of virtual web
domains. In general, if you don't know what it means, leave it alone and
you'll be ok.

You would have to create the VirtualDomain settings for your virtual
domain (suggest the apache site if you do not know how), then once you
have that working, I beleive the above instructions are saying to add
the include directive in the virtual domain settings as opposed to the
main conf. But by doing that, none of the toaster settings will work
under any other domain but that one VirtualDomain. I myself usually
leave the toaster include where it is, and just add virtual domains if
needed. Then the toaster settings apply to all domains.
