[qmailtoaster] Account.Inbox as subfolder of other account
Hi list, On my e-mail server I have the account 'rich...@..' and 'postmas...@..'. With Thunderbird I setup the two accounts and I can see both mail, just by clicking on the INBOX of each account. With webmail I have to logout, and login back with the other account to see the mail of the other account. I cannot switch quickly between those accounts. Also not with different tabs in Firefox. And now the dirty question: Can I have the 'postmaster.Inbox' as subfolder of 'rich...@..'? - Qmailtoaster is sponsored by Vickers Consulting Group (www.vickersconsulting.com) Vickers Consulting Group offers Qmailtoaster support and installations. The postmaster account should be use to manage users. Mails to postmaster can be redirect to another user/users. I have never logged as postmaster. :) First mail account I create with ,,vadduser'', then create alias postmaster to my email and ,,vmoduser -a'' to be an admin. After this I can do all with my email, I can forget postmaster password. -- Pozdrawiam / Regards, Aleksander Podsiadły mail: a...@westside.kielce.pl jid: a...@jabber.westside.kielce.pl ICQ: 201121279 gg: 9150578 - Qmailtoaster is sponsored by Vickers Consulting Group (www.vickersconsulting.com) Vickers Consulting Group offers Qmailtoaster support and installations. Re: [qmailtoaster] policy_check in the log files?
I actually use eMPF. I have used it for six months or so. It works just as advertised. I was surprised to continue seeing the "policy_check" line in the smtp log file after removing the policy control file and restarting qmail. Not sure why qmail seems to continue running eMPF checks after this. Dave slamp slamp wrote: that is what is happening for me too. same setup centos 4.7 and the latest qmail-toaster package. the log alarmed me to post the question :) On Tue, Oct 13, 2009 at 10:20 AM, d...@acbsco.com d...@acbsco.com wrote: Slamp, eMPF is installed by default (thanks Jake!). If the /var/qmail/control/policy is emtpy or missing, eMPF has no rules to check, so eMPF is "disabled". Interestingly, "policy_check" still shows in the /var/log/qmail/smtp/current file after removing the policy file and restarting qmail. At least it does on my system running centos4.7 and the following packages: qmailtoaster-plus.repo-0.1-1 ucspi-tcp-toaster-0.88-1.3.8 courier-imap-toaster-4.1.2-1.3.10 qmailmrtg-toaster-4.2-1.3.6 qmailtoaster-plus-0.3.1-1.4.12 vpopmail-toaster-5.4.17-1.3.7 maildrop-toaster-2.0.3-1.3.8 libdomainkeys-toaster-0.68-1.3.6 vqadmin-toaster-2.3.4-1.3.6 ezmlm-toaster-0.53.324-1.3.6 ripmime-toaster-1.4.0.6-1.3.6 maildrop-toaster-devel-2.0.3-1.3.8 daemontools-toaster-0.76-1.3.6 courier-authlib-toaster-0.59.2-1.3.10 autorespond-toaster-2.0.4-1.3.6 ezmlm-cgi-toaster-0.53.324-1.3.6 qmailadmin-toaster-1.2.12-1.3.8 simscan-toaster-1.4.0-1.3.8 clamav-toaster-0.95.2-1.3.29 isoqlog-toaster-2.1-1.3.7 squirrelmail-toaster-1.4.19-1.3.15 libsrs2-toaster-1.0.18-1.3.6 control-panel-toaster-0.5-1.3.7 qmail-pop3d-toaster-1.03-1.3.18 qmail-toaster-1.03-1.3.18 spamassassin-toaster-3.2.5-1.3.17 send-emails-toaster-0.5-1.3. This is different behavior from older versions where if the policy file was missing, "policy_check" would not be written to the /var/log/qmail/smtp/current file. Can anyone else verify this to be true? [qmailtoaster] CentOS 4 -- CentOS 5 Upgrade--Will The Toaster Survive?
