We'll understand what you mean. The bottom line is that by changing some of the information in your log files, we cannot be sure a critical piece of information is not being changed and have to make assumptions based upon the data you're supplying. This can cause wrong answers (which are really just guesses once you change critical data). And you're not showing us enough of your logfiles anyway. The domain names and IP addresses may be needed to solve your problem. [qmailtoaster] Spamdyke rdns question
Dear list, I am getting trouble receiving mail from a specific mailserver. Following the spamdyke log Oct 19 15:37:03 ariel spamdyke[6701]: DENIED_RDNS_RESOLVE from: x...@inmedico.com to: y...@sylcomed.com origin_ip: 193.88.99.136 origin_rdns: mail.tdchweb.dk auth: (unknown) Now I fixed the problem with: rdns-whitelist-entry=193.88.99.136 in /etc/spamdyke.conf. My question is: if 193.88.99.136 correctly resolve in mail.tdchweb.dk why spamdyke is dropping the incoming mail ? Can someone explain me ? Thanks for all the work.
