It's peculiar to me that qmail-send (vdelivermail actually) has no 
problem with typical emails, yet it gets the 
vdelivermail:_deferred,_database_down message for messages from the 
autoresponder.


I think you should post this problem on the vpopmail users list, and see 
what Matt has to say about it. Be sure to include the vpopmail and 
autorespond version numbers in your post.

rpm -e --nodeps autorespond-toaster
thento rebuild and install autorespond i did
sh fedora_1164-install-script.sh and i skip everything but 
autorespond.

and then i restart qmail service
AND IT WORKS !!! :-)

There the problem. Try rebuilding the package again on that 
machine, making sure you replace all the files and package.

This weekend i installed QMT on a new server (fedora 11 64)
and i have exactly the same problem (

- I changed the soft memory limit to 12800  (instead of 4800)
