Re: [qmailtoaster] Disable SPF check

2010-03-30 Thread Catalin Leanca
My qmailtoaster server hosts several domains and some of them receive
email from email gateways

that are registered as MX records for that domains.
The problem is that i want to disable SPF checks for the IPs of email
gateways that break SPF because

they forward external email to my qmailtoaster server.

[qmailtoaster] allow relay for lan machines

2010-03-30 Thread Athiqur Rahman

hi,

I want for all machines on my internal network to be able send emails
via my qmailtoaster without any kind of authentication, act as an open
relay.

Do i go about doing this by simply adding 172.16.0.:allow,
RELAYCLIENT="" to my exisitng tcp.smtp file?

Do I need to make config changes anywhere else?

Thanks

I didn't know of a way to do this, until I checked the wiki:
http://wiki.qmailtoaster.com/index.php/SPF
Thanks to Dan for updating this page. Nice job!
(Could use a TOC now)

BL, you can add the problem servers to your tcp.smtp file with whatever
SPFBEHAVIOR setting you like.

Yes. Like the 127. line that's there (for squirrelmail).

Not that I'm aware of. Just
# qmailctl cdb
afterwards.
