Re: [qmailtoaster] Gmail as smarthost

2010-04-02 Thread Amit Dalia
Hi Bharath,

You can not use Gmail as Smarthost since Gmail automatically replaces
Sender Id to the email id used for smarthost.

Amit

Will you post a bit of your spamd log? That might give some sort of

Given that this is a virtual host, it's a bit hard to make a
knowledgeable recommendation for improving performance. Is your host

Ok, another duplicated message today, from the header:

2010-04-02 Thread Postmaster

Can you try manually list/view a domain and/or users?
(/home/vpopmail/bin/)

Also do you have Qcontrol installed? Can you try to add/delete users via
Qcontrol?

Do you have your MySQL backup? As a last resort you can delete your
vpopmail database and import it from your sql file.

Good news, Eric, this would help you guys as well as you do not have to
recompile the original clamav/spamassassin rpm's.

Also the upgrade would be more smooth in my view.

Any idea when QMT v2 is out roughly?

Not in this release. There are configuration differences.
The plan is that QMT v2 that Jake's working on will be able to use the
base distro packages.

If this topic has come up, I'd like to ask what the difference is
between RHEL ClamAV rpm - http://packages.sw.be/clamav/
and qmail-toaster ClamAV rpm package? Can we update
qmailtoaster-clamav with a normal clamav.rpm?

Don't hold your breath.
(No slam on Jake, but he's rather busy these days).
I'll be happy to see it some time this year.
