Hello Martin,

I know that is not good, but I don't know how much softlimit is enough.
I also install QMT with qmt install script. It had same problem when the
qmail is running.

Hello Erik,

I had built all QMT's packages with 'rpmbuild --rebuild --with
fedora_1164 --target x86_64' , and installed them. But nothing is
better. It had same problem when problem.

Kevin, you are confusing me here: the Ports you mention are not pop3, but smtp.
can you clarify?

Re: [qmailtoaster] Re: re Invalid rcpthosts client email addresses sending emails to other rcpthosts clients

2010-11-18 Thread Tonix (Antonio Nati)
I think you have no other choise, except forcing your customers to use
your relay servers.
Set up a dedicated IP where you accept only authenticated users (i.e.
relay.ycs.com.au), and use the submission port (587) for accepting their
emails in case mobile companies block sending to port 25.

I believe Tonino's correct. On second thought, I misunderstood the
problem.

The problem is that mobile users submit email via the mobile smtp
service, and don't come through QMT. Those servers would somehow
need to be included in the SPF record. It has nothing to do with QMT
(which is what creates the problem, somewhat ironically).

I feel when using SPF you have no other choice than relaying to ISP
servers. Adding all possible SMTP servers of mobile operator is out
of our possibility :-).

Ciao!

Tonino

Hello Erik,

I had built the version 5.4.32 of vpopmail, and upgraded it. It has same
errors with pop3. I don't know how to fix them.

I'd like to work on 64bit Linux. But it doesn't work well. There are
some errors below.

telnet localhost 587

@40004ce4d4cb1b7f67e4 tcpserver: ok 18614

cat /var/qmail/supervise/submission/run |grep softlimit

When I use mail client to connect pop3, there is an error. It can not be
found in the logs.

The others ports (25, 143, 993, 995) look well. I can send and receive
