Re: [qmailtoaster] Re: A Question of Restoration
OK. I seem to have figured out that challenge. For some reason the cdb file in the same directory was not being rebuilt. I used vadddomain to add in another virtual domain and then remove it, and the cdb file was rebuilt and logins to the mail server are now working properly. Thanks again to everyone for their help. [qmailtoaster] Re: A Question of Restoration
The the /var/qmail/users/assign file has a corresponding /var/qmail/users/cdb file. This cdb file is *not* rebuilt by the qmailctl cdb command. It *is* rebuilt when you add or delete a domain. There's also a way to rebuild this cdb file manually, but I don't recall what that command is off hand. I believe you'd find it in the list archives though. I'd try rebuilding this cdb file (by adding/deleting a dummy domain if not manually - be sure to use the cli commands in /home/vpopmail/bin/, *not* vqadmin), and see if that doesn't fix things up. I'd also check permissions, and be sure that mysqld is running and accessible. I think the assign cdb file will likely fix things up for you though. -- -Eric 'shubes' On 12/05/2010 11:50 AM, Roxanne Sandesara wrote: Sorry if I was in any way unclear.
