[qmailtoaster] Renaming base FQDN

2013-04-01 Thread Dnk
Is there a doc (looked on the wiki) detailing how to rename the base FQDN of a
qmail toaster?

Thanks!

Most of it's here >>>
  link

I think these cover all of them.

/var/qmail/control/me
type in your hostname
if you still using localhost for smtp server it might get caught
  by SORBS, like me

# vi /var/qmail/control/me
mailsvr.mycompany.com

/var/qmail/control/smtpgreeting
type in your hostname
if you still using localhost for smtp server it might get caught
  by SORBS, like me

# vi /var/qmail/control/smtpgreeting
mailsvr.mycompany.com - Welcome to Qmail Toaster Ver. 1.3 SMTP Server

  other
control files
/var/qmail/control/defaultdomain
/var/qmail/control/defaulthost
/var/qmail/control/plusdomain

edit them and replace it with your domain

/var/qmail/control/locals

add your hostname

/home/vpopmail/etc/defaultdomain
default vpopmail's domain
type domain name that will be the default for qmtiso
if the domain name is listed here, no domain is needed for user
  authentication
  i.e. w/o /home/vpopmail/etc/defaultdomain users need to
  authenticate as
  u...@mycompany.com
but with /home/vpopmail/etc/defaultdomain user only need to
  authenticate as
  user

# vi /home/vpopmail/etc/defaultdomain
mycompany.com

Hi Eric,
I had installed spamdyke on live system but still i receive spam, how to
block the spams some website as well email address and subject wise. Am
using spamassassin now and added there also. how to define spamdyke config
files and avoid spams. Please help me .

Another thing i want to ask you, Am hosting my mail server in one location
and our most of users accessing email in another location, some times mail
receiving and sending it's very slow. If possible i can install another
server in another location using fetchmail.
but if i use fetchmail i need to store all the emails in both server. Can
you please guide me how to install and configure fetchmail in another
location.

And one more query. whenever i want to check the password need to use below
command
only vuserinfo u...@domain.com. If possible to see all users username and
password to see in one text file.

RE: [qmailtoaster] Re: clamav-toaster-0.97.7-1.43 available

2013-04-01 Thread Amit
Hi Chandran,

1) Post the content of your tcp.smtp file.

2) To see username and password, you can use below url:

http://yourservername/admin-toaster >> vqadmin >> show users >> enter your
domain name

3) Now regarding 2 location setup, I would have done it in any of 2
ways:

a) I would have setup replica of server on location 2 and then
scheduling rsync for domain folder at every 15 min.

b) Would have use alias of all users to another location and the
fetchmail alias email id at altername location.

QMT isn't quite ready for COS6 yet. I hope to get that done in the next
couple months (before COS7 comes out). There are a couple scripts available
for getting QMT working on COS6. See the list archives for these.

And also am not able to open qtp.qmailtoaster.com

 website.
Please help me.

There was a temporary DNS problem accessing the QTP site. It's been fixed.
