Hi Eric,

Thanks for your reply..


I tried modifying the config file as mentioned , but it was throwing the
same  Qmail admin login page as in http://localhost/qmailadmin . I had gone
through the backup of my previous version and found that adding a slash at
the end of  $qmlogin_cgi_url='/qmailadmin/'; solved the issue

Now it works... Thanks a lot for your help

[qmailtoaster] users unable to change password using qmailadmin

Hi,

I had installed Qmail on COS7 64 bit from whitehorsetc . Installation went
well and my qmail is up and running. but when a user  try to change
password from squirrel mail interface it says " You dont have permission to
access /cgi-bin/qmailadmin on this server" But I am able to access
qmailadmin on http://localhost/qmailadmin.

Where should I begin?

I killed the qmail send pid s and started qmail again .. now the current
log shows the following...  and the email queue is piling up.

 I am using qmail for intranet only.. some of the users enabled forwarding
option in their mailbox to their personal email address. From last two days
users are not getting any forwarded mails from the intranet mail...

Also is there option to track whether the user had changed the password ?

[qmailtoaster] Integrating Qmail with Active directory

Can we integrate qmail to authenticate via AD ? My current installation is
independent and I am maintaining users within qmail only. We are in the
process of enabling single signon . All the users in qmail are having
accounts in AD also. Any suggestions?

 As in undeliver something? I think you'd need a time machine for that. ;)

 If there's a particular message you'd like to remove from everyone's
 mailbox on a QMT host, there's no particular tool or function for doing
 that. You could however grep through all the mailboxes for that message ID
 (it would be the same in all message headers), then remove that file from
 wherever it resides. Something like this should get you started:

 # find /home/vpopmail/domains -type d -name Maildir \
  exec grep -Rl ^Message-ID: your particular message id {} \;

 That command should give you a list of files that you're looking to remove
 (might need a little tweaking - I didn't test it). You should be able to
 take it from there.

software running on the cloud, from which i need to send email
notifications to my intranet users. My qmail server is in my LAN not public
domain. I dont want to give direct inbound connection to mail server in

 The submission/smtp log should show the account it was sent from.
 Also, if you have access to one of the messages sent, its headers will
 show the account used to authenticate the submission.

[qmailtoaster] user mailbox not receiving any mails. sending works properly

Hi,

one of the user in my domain is unable to receive any mails . Email sending
has no problem. Other users are working fine. where should i look ?? Qmail
logs are not reporting anything! all the not received mails are waiting in
qmail queue.

Hi Team,,

Everything is back online . Qmail is one of the stable application i have
ever used.

I have Run the installation script again with few rpm installation
commented . I had missed control panel toaster and qmail admin toaster in
the previous installation.
Now everything seems ok . Webmail 'blankpage upon login  issue
disappeared. Squirrel mail is also reinstalled and working fine . I had to
reconfigure squirrel mail after reinstallation.

PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined function sqimap_msgs_list_move() in
/usr/share/squirrelmail/plugins/filters/filters.php on line 343, referer:

I think its with filter plugin, but i had removed all the plugins from my
squirrelmail installation.

[qmailtoaster] User quota setting is not appear in qmailadmin new user creation page

HI, I have recently moved my qmail from old server to new server .
In old server i was able to set user quota from the user creation window on
qmailadmin. But on the new server that option is not visible. Any idea??

Hi Eric,

did u mean the qmailadmin version ? it is 1.2.1 and vpopmail 5.4.17 . in
old mail server qmailadmin version  was 1.2.12
