[qmailtoaster] Re: Re: Problems with perl upgrading CentOS 5.1 to 5.2 [SOLVED?]

2008-08-26 Thread ArcosCom Linux User
Taking a view into perl packages (classes) needed by spamassassin
(qmail-toaster package), I saw that there are a script that install the
classes using CPAN.

I discovered that CPAN installed packages goes into a diferent directory
that distro ones.

The workaround (solution) I found is rename this directory and install the
needed packages manually from rpmforge repository.

All appears to be working now.

The steps have been:
   1) Rename /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl.
   2) Update perl packages.
   3) Install the needed clases as packages (from rpmforge) instead from
CPAN.
   4) Reinstall packages broken because they install manually any
propietary perl classes into the system (vmware-server for example).

Thanks to all for the help.

2008-08-24 Thread ArcosCom Linux User
Hi, I'm having problems with perl.
I'm receivings this e-mails from logwatch everyday and appears to be a
problem with perl.

I explain a bit before expose the errors that I received: I tried to
download all perl* packages, uninstall the repeated ones and reinstall all
packages where installed.

I need some help to try to solve this problem, because is a production
server and I can't uninstall many working packages that depends on perl*
ones.

I read about similar problem in CentOS forums, with no sucess.

Many thanks to all!!!

Yes, I can.
The idea is that all servers has, by default, the domain
.. Then, when I send and e-mail using "mail" from the
server (as root, for example), it will send from
root@.. The problem I have is how to allow toaster
machine to receive this e-mails from internet (not directly from LAN),
knowing that these machines are allowed to send e-mails in their own
subdomains.
The question is ¿Need I any DNS considerations about these subdomains?
and/or ¿Need I any toaster machine considerations too?

The problem I encounter is when these machines (in the same LAN) uses
another gateway to connect to internet, that is the reason for this
question.

[qmailtoaster] TOASTER SERVER in a DMZ

2008-07-15 Thread ArcosCom Linux User
I need to put a toaster server into a DMZ subnet.

The IDEA is this:

INTERNET - GW - DMZ
|
   LAN

And the TOASTER server be used from LAN and FROM internet.
I need some help about questions I have about this:
   1) I have my DNS server (hosting my domain) in the DMZ network and
appears to be working fine. The question is: How need I configure the
SPF (and any other DNS registers) in my domain to works fine for the
LAN and the INTERNET? I have 3 public IPs (in loadbalancing
configuration).
   2) How I need to configure qmail to allow the WAN and LAN domain be
used as one domain?
   3) How I need to configure qmail to allow send e-mails from my LAN
subdomains (the servers in DMZ sends e-mails to internet in the form
root@.).

If you know any usefull link (or more) that allow me learn how to do this,
please, send!!

Thanks!!

Re: [qmailtoaster] Problemas con Perl + SpamAssassin

2008-04-12 Thread ArcosCom Linux User

servidor.

Salu2

[qmailtoaster] Problemas con Perl + SpamAssassin

2008-04-11 Thread ArcosCom Linux User

/etc/cron.daily/qtp-sa-update:

Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi/Scalar/Util.pm line 30.

@400047ff6d0d01744e8c [25782] error: List::Util object version 1.18

Re: [qmailtoaster] Mi servidor rechaza mis envíos

2007-11-19 Thread ArcosCom Linux User
Yo tengo en ese fichero esto:

-r zen.spamhaus.org -r bl.spamcop.net -r list.dsbl.org -r cbl.abuseat.org
-r dnsbl.tqmcube.com -r bl.csma.biz -r spamsources.fabel.dk

-r zen.spamhaus.org

y dejarlo así:

-r bl.spamcop.net -r list.dsbl.org -r cbl.abuseat.org -r dnsbl.tqmcube.com
-r bl.csma.biz -r spamsources.fabel.dk

¿Verdad?

451 http://www.spamhaus.org/query/bl?ip=84.123.238.233

2007-11-15 Thread ArcosCom Linux User

cat /etc/rulesdujour/config
TRUSTED_RULESETS="
SARE_ADULT
SARE_BAYES_POISON_NXM
SARE_BML
SARE_FRAUD
SARE_HEADER
SARE_OEM

SARE_HIGHRISK
SARE_HTML
SARE_OBFU
SARE_REDIRECT_POST300
SARE_SPAMCOP_TOP200
SARE_STOCKS
SARE_UNSUB
SARE_URI0
SARE_URI1
SARE_URI3
SARE_URI_ENG
SARE_WHITELIST
SARE_WHITELIST_SPF
SARE_WHITELIST_RCVD
ZMI_GERMAN
SARE_EVILNUMBERS0
SARE_EVILNUMBERS1
SARE_EVILNUMBERS2
"
SA_DIR="/etc/mail/spamassassin"
MAIL_ADDRESS="mipedazodeemail"
SA_RESTART="qmail-spam restart"
SA_LINT="spamassassin -lint"

Bien, ejecutando (como root):
/etc/cron.daily/rules_du_jour

# spamassassin -lint --progress -D
[27755] warn: The -l option has been deprecated and is no longer
supported, ignoring.
[27755] dbg: logger: adding facilities: all
[27755] dbg: logger: logging level is DBG

[27755] dbg: config: score set 0 chosen.
[27755] dbg: util: running in taint mode? yes
[27755] dbg: util: taint mode: deleting unsafe environment variables,

[27755] dbg: util: PATH included '/usr/lib/qt-3.3/bin', keeping

[27755] dbg: util: PATH included '/usr/kerberos/bin', keeping
[27755] dbg: util: PATH included '/usr/java/latest/bin', keeping
[27755] dbg: util: PATH included '/usr/local/sbin', keeping
[27755] dbg: util: PATH included '/usr/local/bin', keeping

[27755] dbg: util: PATH included '/root/bin', keeping
[27755] dbg: util: final PATH set to:
/usr/lib/qt-3.3/bin:/usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/java/latest/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/root/bin
[27755] dbg: message: MIME PARSER START
[27755] dbg: message: main message type: text/plain
[27755] dbg: message: parsing normal part

[27755] dbg: message: MIME PARSER END
[27755] dbg: dns: is Net::DNS::Resolver available? yes
[27755] dbg: dns: Net::DNS version: 0.60

otro.

¿Alguien puede ayudarme con el tema?

[qmailtoaster] Problem upgrading (clamav 0.90.1)

2007-03-08 Thread ArcosCom Linux User
I'm trying to upgrade my toaster packages and I have a problem with clamav
0.90.1.

I upgraded succesfully at March,1. I upgrades qtplus today to last
version, but when I try to update the upgradeable packages:

1) Remaking a new sandbox (linked): dayly.cvd error appears and
/usr/share/clamav/daily.cfd file don't exist.

2) Don't creating a new sandbos, qtp-newmodel appears to hang after
"building packages" message apears and is not uptraded (after some hours).

I tried to copy daily.cvd.rpmnew as daily.cvd, but the problem persists.

Any help?

Thanks.

[qmailtoaster] Problemas recibiendo e-mails (problems receibing e-mails)

2007-02-02 Thread ArcosCom Linux User

   Fedora Core 5

I'm having a problem in my e-mail server (qmail-toaster): Users from
another e-mails domains (other e-mail system) appears can send e-mails to
us, but can receibe our e-mails!!.

I have account into other e-mails domain, and I have one account that
can't send e-mail to us.

The work flow is:

user -> send e-mail to me -> I don't receive the e-mail and I don't
receibe any error e-mail.

The user isn't notified about I don't received the e-mail!!.

None of the qmail logs show me any "from" email address that I don't
receibe e-mails.

I have a domain server on the qmail box and SPF register configured too.

Any help? What logs can I use to monitor the e-mails receibed by the
server "before" any process is used to filter the e-mail (as SA, maildrop,
CLAMAV, ...).

I have these installed:
