[qmailtoaster] over quota message
Dear Sir, i have installed the qmail on my mail server and i have enjoyed using the same . presently i have one small issue with over quota message . In my setup the people email ids and login id are differnt , email id is mapped to the login id . i.e login id is [EMAIL PROTECTED] and email id is [EMAIL PROTECTED] i am receivin the below over quota error Hi. This is the qmail-send program at linux.abc.com. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out. [EMAIL PROTECTED]: user is over quota i want to change the above overquota message i.e [EMAIL PROTECTED]: user is over quota to [EMAIL PROTECTED]: user is over quota i.e i want to change the loginid - my actual email id . As all the external world mails me to this email address but they receive the error of my login id address . Dear Sir, thks for quick response . The lgoin id in my setup is the email account created via which the user can login to the webmail , configure outlook etc .But the email address for me is the aliases i have created for the user. here the login id address is not given to the client ,but the alias address is what is given to the client .I dont want to show the actual email account created for the external world , this is the reason i want to hide the same in the overquota msg . Most interesting thing for me is how did you map email ids to login ids? And what is the exact meaning of login id for you? [qmailtoaster] qmail toaster is a lovely tool
Dear Sir, qmail toaster is a wonderful and easy setup developed to install qmail . Presently i am using qmail in my location and i have no problems with the same .I am enjoying the qmail server as it takes very less load . The only issue presently i am facing is the email address spoofing . The people in the organisation are using outlook as the client for the qmail server .They are using my server requires authentication in outlook as the qmail server is configured with amtp-auth .Few people in my organistaion are continuosly changing the from address and sending the mails . Is there any way i could stop these people from changing the from address and sending the mails .In sendmail we can use sfcmilter - sender-forgery-checker mail filter module. can we use someting in qmail too.
